| ok, so if you're still checking this site after our LOUSY attempt (ok, geoff--MY lousy attempt) to keep it updated, well, you're a trooper and you deserve the information you will find here...
blogging--not my thing. posting comments and looking at pictures--LOVE IT. the kids in the youth group we've been helping with are SUPER into myspace. therefore, both geoff and i have created our own--independently, seperately, individually...and i must say we do a little better job with that. if you don't have a myspace, well...you should get one. no pressure to blog...just occasionally post comments on other people's pages so they still know you're alive. yes!!!!!!!
if you're interested, check us out.

now, these addresses are off the top of my head, so if you're the first one to check it out, let me know if you get someone scary that you're not looking for. (and my preemptive apologies).
that's all for now...you want new info? check the myspace and join not just the trend, but the REVOLUTION! | | |
| yeah, so after reading some of my friend's blogs...you know, like the ones that are in some exotic locale or those with ponderings as deep as philosophers...i've decided my husband and i are boring. so, i'm going to resort to the one thing that boring old married people have to talk about: our kids. well, sort of. so they're not really ours ours, per se. but it's hard to imagine loving anybody's kids as much as we love our niece and nephew. that's right. we're that braggy aunt and uncle who talk about their siblings' kids as if we were somehow responsible for how freaking cute they are.
brody's no longer a baby--we don't see him often, but we get frequent reports from grandma. every time we see pictures we're startled that he's no longer a baby--he's now a little boy. he recently made his very own build-a-bunny and helped grandma make cookies!! and chubby little anna bean--she's going to be one year old on march 10!! she's crazy. she crawls all over the place and is into just about everything. she's starting to pull up to her feet. it's hard to imagine a person that little walking, but she'll be at it soon enough. we'll take some more recent pics of anna soon...until then, here are some funny ones to keep you as entertained as we always are when we're with her.

| Wulp, I (Geoff) was finally talked into participating in this ridiculous circus known as blogging. Basically, my wife is applying peer pressure. So, with that said...this is my one and only entry. You ready for it? Okay, here it comes... BLOGGING IS BUSH. Lades. I'm gonna go eat Texas Roadhouse. | | |
| well, since it took us so long to get this thing up and running, i thought we should let you in on what you might have missed. (our "bloggings" probably won't be very deep or thought provoking, so if it's creativity you're looking for, check out kimmie or colleen's sights). here we go...
starting with the honeymoon--sheesh, what a nightmare. well, not all of it. just the parts where the keys didn't work to our condo, having no electricity for a night, getting stopped in customs as potential terrorists for three hours and then wrecking into my mom's rental car at our reception in ohio. (don't ask...) and i'm sure geoff would want me to mention me getting smashed on margaritas--ok, tipsy at least.

we moved to denver and i now work for a non-profit health clinic in the dental department. although i have had to assist once with dental work (scary!) i mainly stick to answering the phones and scheduling appointments. i LOVE the people i work with--both the patients and the other people in the office. good times. geoff is working at a church as maintenance/custodian. he works with this great puerto rican guy named vinny from nyc who has ties to the mob and wants to be a professional actor. he and his wife shawna have invited us into their family--they have five girls! geoff sometimes thinks that HE is latino now that we've been exposed to puerto rican cuisine and numerous spanish phrases. hm...we do live in the latino capital of denver--VIVA FEDERALE!! (or federal ave. for those of the non-local persuasion).

since we live in colorado, we've tried to do numerous coloradoish things. like...attempt our first 14er. yeah, that was a mistake. it was like minus 100 degrees and hurricane force winds. uh, no thanks. maybe next summer.

we have also become avid sports fans: we sure were sad when the broncos lost, but not sad enough to riot or lose sleep over it like the rest of this crazy town. the nuggets are cool--we scored free tickets to a game there but had more fun watching the things during the tv timeouts than the basketball game. (breakdancing anyone?) and while we are not nor ever will be rockies fans, it's nice to catch a game every once and a while. coors stadium is beautiful, plus we get a kick out of riding the train into downtown.

so, that's about as exciting as it gets here in the ol mile high city. i'm sure there will be more to come. oh, i almost forgot. here's the highlight of the century... my hair--yeah, it's permed. what was i thinking? pictures of that later...

| so we had to find out what this blog thing was all about. kimmie and colleen inspired me. oh, by me i mean sara. geoff pretty much told me he didn't want to be featured in our little experiment, but i couldn't leave him out. and i bet by the end he get hooked, just like me, and be blogging away. blog blog blog. and it begins... | | |
